Collaboration statement

I am interested in contributing to the Earth Metabolome Initiative through my expertise in tropical botany, plant taxonomy, biodiversity conservation, and botanical collections. My work with Universidad de los Andes and the Jardín Botánico de Cartagena aligns with EMI’s goals of promoting open science, biological discovery, and collaborative research on the chemical diversity of life.

I foresee the following contributions:

  • Providing expertise in plant taxonomy and identification.
  • Supporting the collection and documentation of plant samples from tropical ecosystems.
  • Contributing knowledge on Colombian Caribbean plant diversity and conservation.
  • Helping connect botanical collections, field data, and open biodiversity resources with metabolomics research.
