Collaboration statement I am interested in contributing to the Earth Metabolome Initiative by providing my expertise in phytochemistry and my role as the scientific director of the Botanical Gardens of the University of Parma. My research activities bridge pharmaceutical botany, phytochemistry, and plant biology, with a focus on characterising the secondary metabolome of plant species. As Scientific Director of the Botanical Garden of the University of Parma, I connect fundamental research with public education, conservation, and cultural outreach, making the garden a living platform for the study of plant–human relationships, with a unique focus on the role of plant secondary metabolites.
