Merry is Assistant Professor for Spatial Genetics in the Departments of Geography and Chemistry, University of Zurich. Merry and the Spatial Genetics group investigate patterns of plant genetic diversity to know how plants interact with, and function in, their environments under global change. Their projects combine direct analyses of plant tissue and remote sensing to assess genetic and chemotypic variation, plasticity, and adaptive potential within plant species, and their interactions.
